Dog Paw Balm FAQs

Yes, organic certified dog paw balms are safe to use on puppies and senior dogs. They are beneficial for puppies to develop healthy paw pads, and for senior dogs, it helps moisturize and protect their more delicate paws. Look for organic certified options and avoid balms that claim organic status without certification by a reputable third party.

The effectiveness of dog paw balms can vary depending on the severity of the paw condition. In general, you may start noticing improvements in your dog's paw pads within a few days of regular application. However, for more severe issues, it may take a few weeks to see significant results.

Yes, dog paw balm can be used alongside other paw care products, such as paw wipes or boots. Using them together can provide comprehensive paw care, with the balm moisturizing and protecting the paw pads while other products help with cleaning or added protection.

Dog paw balms formulated with safe, and organic certified ingredients generally have minimal side effects. However, in rare cases, dogs with sensitive skin may experience mild allergic reactions. It's always a good idea to do a patch test before applying the balm extensively.

While dog paw balms are primarily designed for paw pad care, some balms may be safe for use on other dry or cracked areas, such as the nose or elbow calluses. However, it's best to check the product instructions or consult with your veterinarian for specific recommendations.

Yes, dog paw balm can be used throughout the year, regardless of the season. It provides relief to exposure to hot pavement in summer, cold surfaces in winter, and helps combat dryness and cracking during any time of the year.

Dog paw balms can provide some relief for mild allergies or irritations caused by outdoor elements. They form a barrier that helps minimize contact with potential allergens and soothes irritated skin. However, for severe allergies, it's best to consult with your veterinarian for a comprehensive treatment plan.

It's best to store dog paw balm in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or excessive heat. Ensure the lid is tightly closed after each use to maintain the balm's consistency and effectiveness.

In most cases, using dog paw balm is a safe and straightforward process. However, if your dog has existing medical conditions, allergies, or persistent paw issues, it's always wise to consult with your veterinarian before introducing any new product into their routine. Your veterinarian can provide personalized guidance and recommend the most suitable paw balm for your dog's specific needs.

Good

Thought I'd give this a try on my dog's dry nose. So far it's been working well and he doesn't seem to be bothered by the smell.

It does what it says it does

I bought this for my labrador puppy. I really like this balm. It’s mildly scented and it has a nice texture. It does what it says “revive”. Our puppy paws look very healthy now. Compared to other balms, it is such a large container which, in my opinion also justifies the price.

I applied it a couple of time to my girl's rough paws and I think it is working. I'm going to try using it before bed to see if more will stay on because she likes to lick it.

Simply wonderful

Simply wonderful, I love this balm. This balm worked great on my hairless cat! Just a little goes a long way! I highly recommend it for any hairless cat or wrinkled dog!

Great

I love that this balm only has a slight smell. I hate how so many products smell so chemical even when they claim to use natural ingredients. This smells fresh like flowers.
