Our Certifications
While other companies make claims about their products, we have third party, independent certifiers verifying our claims. Don't just take our word for it, learn what materials and ingredients go into our products and what each certification guarantees.
Overview of the certification:
The USDA organic logo identifies crops that are non-GMO and free from harmful synthetics. While intended for food, this certification can be also appear on non-consumables so long as the same high-standards have been met.
✔️ To carry the logo, a product must contain at least 95% organic ingredients and the remaining 5% must be approved for use in organic production by OMRI (see below).
✔️ An annual inspection ensures ingredient integrity is maintained from the source, through manufacturing, into the finished product.
✔️ Many companies improperly use "organic" on their products. While the USDA does allow the word organic to be used in certain specific cases, those products are not held to the same inspection and chain of custody standards of certified products. If the USDA logo and certifier are not present on the label, the product may not be organic at all.

The GOTS certification is the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibers.
✔️ It provides verifiable and credible assurance of responsible textile manufacturing.
✔️ It ensures high quality, non-toxic organic fabric for end consumers.
✔️ It aims to make high quality, sustainable textiles without harming the environment while also protecting consumers from chemical contamination.
✔️ The raw materials and the finished products must not contain any chemical residues.
✔️ Prevents the use of carcinogenic agents such as formaldehyde or phthalates are common in non-organic textiles.

Overview of the certification:
OEKO-TEX® is a certification that verifies that a product is tested for chemicals that are potentially harmful to humans and our larger ecosystems.
✔️ The baby products class of standard 100 has the strictest testing rules.
✔️ The cotton fibers have been tested against a list of harmful substances and found safe for human health.
✔️ The test includes over 100 regulated and non-regulated substances.
✔️ Tested substances include pesticides, heavy metals, and formaldehyde, among others.

Overview of the certification:
The FSC certification is considered the "gold standard" for responsibly harvested wood

Overview of the certification:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) established the BioPreferred Program to increase the purchase and use of biobased products to reduce reliance on petroleum, and increase the use of renewable agricultural resources.
✔️ Third party independent laboratories test the materials within a product to determine the percentage of non-synthetic materials.
✔️ The percentage on the label is a clear indicator as to how much of the product is of biological origin vs. how much is chemically manufactured.
